Fall Ball Registration is Open!
Fall ball is a skill-building season, so there are no games. It's a perfect time to come try out lacrosse if you've never played it before. It's also a great time to keep sharpening your skills and learn some new ones in the off-season.
Who is eligible to play youth lacrosse?
Players of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to be a part of the fastest growing sport in the Southeast!
The Mobile Youth Lacrosse League (MYLL) is a member of the Gulf Coast Lacrosse Conference (GCLC), which includes teams in South Louisiana, South Mississippi, South Alabama, and the Florida panhandle.
When and where are practices?
Practices will be held on Sundays from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Medal of Honor (Cottage Hill) Park beginning Sunday, September 22, 2019 and ending Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
How do I register my child?
Click on the "Register" under the correct grade/team for your child below or on the "Registration" tab at the top of this page. For new families, create a family account on our website and provide parent information and player information. For current families, log into your pre-existing family account.
For insurance purposes, EVERY player is required to have a US Lacrosse membership that is valid through the spring season for registration. This can be purchased or updated prior to registration OR it can be done during the registration process. To join US Lacrosse before you begin registration, please click on the following link and select "Join Today." https://www.uslacrosse.org/membership
What are the fees for registration, and how can I pay?
$25 per player
Registration fees are paid via debit card or credit card during the registration process.
What equipment is required?
Boys need: a stick, mouthpiece, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, and cup. Cleats are strongly recommended.
Girls need: a stick, mouthpiece, and goggles. Cleats and helmets are recommended.
Does the MYLL have equipment available for my child to borrow?
The MYLL has limited sets of equipment for NEW players to borrow. It is distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please indicate whether your player needs to borrow equipment during the registration process. Once distributed to a new player, the player will be responsible for taking the equipment home, bringing it to each practice and game, and returning it at the end of the season.
Do you offer assistance for families who have children who want to play but cannot afford the registration fee and equipment?
Financial assistance is available to players on a case-by-case basis. If you need assistance, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information, and we will get in touch with you to discuss how we can help your family.
Please address questions to Josh Friedman at email@example.com.
